It is an advantage if you have sung in choir before and can read music a little, but the main points are that you should be able to sing in tune and be willing to learn. Who: We are a choir of about 17 women who love to sing. Our inspirational conductor Leif Munk Hansen is a music teacher, singer and composer.

Why: We sing, because we enjoy singing and being together, and because we want to develop the choir's sound.

When: We practise every Tuesday in school term time (Oct to April) from 19:30 until about 21:45. Once or twice a year we also use a whole Saturday or Sunday for choir practise.

Where: In Pårup Aftenskole's building: Rugårdsvej 103 C, 5000 Odense C

What: We sing a mixture of rythmical songs, classical music, jazz, gospel and evergreens, mostly in either English or Danish, but also more recently Latin.

We give about 4-6 concerts a year, for which we are paid. We also sometimes hold our own concerts.
